During the day, but also in the evenings, you can have a glass of beer or wine in the center of the city, in one of the many surrounding restaurants, bier gardens and cafes.

In night time you can go out and meet the people from the “fan city” in one of the many clubs, night bars or just take part at a wild student’s party. You can enjoy more exclusive and upscale clubs as well as more leisurely ones, but you can easily find heavy metal or hard rock places also.

If you are a music fan, for sure you will take part in one of the many live events, from Jazz, soul and blues or alternative rock concerts to salsa and Latin American sounds.

But Karlsruhe also offers a lot of opportunities for enriching your cultural side: you can have a guided tour of the media museum Center for Art and Media (ZKM), visit the exhibitions in the Naturkundemuseum on Friedrichsplatz. You might want to go to one of the many theatres from here: the Badische Staatstheater, the Sandkorn Theater or the Marotte Figurentheater.

And last but not least, all sport fans will enjoy a traditional soccer game of the local club Karlsruher SC on Wildpark stadium.
