In Karlsruhe you  have the possibility to stay in a room in a student residence. You will experience this way the living in a young, multicultural environment - as in this dormitories live students not only from Germany, but from most of the European countries and other continents.

The rooms are well equipped and have private or shared showers and bathrooms on each floors. Also the student residences usually offer all the other facilities that you need, to make your staying comfortable.

Another very popular way of living is to share a flat with several other students or trainees (‘Wohngemeinschaft’ = flat-sharing community). 

If you prefer, of course, living in a flat of your own, this is also possible, as a more expensive way.

Prices for rooms range from EUR 175,- through EUR 300,- per month, depending on size, position and condition and usually include all utilities.
